May 2, 2018

On Saturday, April 28, the Basilian Centre for Peace and Justice along with other social justice organizations hosted ‘Voices for Peace’, a conference on Peacemaking for those who are ready to engage, stand up, and be heard. The chapel of the Cardinal Flahiff Basilian Centre was packed to listen to the keynote speakers, Orthodox author, Jim Forest; and Canadian rapper, Shad, who offered a diverse range of insights. The Basilian Centre for Peace and Justice supports the efforts of Christian peacemaker teams around the world, and provides resources and programs for education on peace and justice in schools.
