Fr. Warren Schmidt: On Reconciliation – Edmonton, AB.
October 5, 2024

“Reconciliation is a process that unites people once divided.” As we reflect on Truth and Reconciliation Day, Fr. Schmidt, CSB, provides insight into the ongoing nature of restoring justice to the present day. We’re reminded of the ongoing journey toward healing with Indigenous Peoples. The Basilian Fathers stand in solidarity, particularly through education, striving to acknowledge the past and honor the value Indigenous cultures bring to Canada and the Church. Together, we walk the path of reconciliation and hope.
