Fr. Carlos Rodriguez Marciales, CSB concelebrates Chrism Mass With Archbishop Ricardo Tobón – Medellín, COL.

March 22, 2024

Fr. Carlos Rodriguez Marciales, CSB concelebrated the Eucharist in the company of all the priests of the Archdiocese of Medellín, held at Catedral Basílica Metropolitana de Medellín, with Archbishop Ricardo Tobón.

The Chrism Mass is a Mass that is held once a year, and presided over by the Bishop along with the entire Presbytery.
During Chrism Mass, three types of oils (olive) are blessed:
– Oil of the Sick
– Oil of the Catechumens
– Oil of the Holy Chrism
With these oils God’s holy people receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in all the sacraments.
