Basilians Celebrate Opening of Keon House

February 22, 2017

On Monday, February 20, the Basilian community gathered to celebrate the opening of Keon House, the Basilian residence located on the University of St. Thomas campus in Houston, Texas. In addition, several members of the University of St. Thomas faculty, staff, and administration were in attendance, as well as members of the Guild of the Chapel of St. Basil. Visitors were treated to an enjoyable evening of good food and drink and wonderful conversation.

The residence, which is named in honour of the late Father James Keon, CSB, a long time Philosophy professor at the University who was deeply loved by the campus community, is home to Basilian scholastics and Basilian Fathers of University of St. Thomas.
