Basilian Scholastics Host Vocation Discernment Retreat Day

Basilian scholastics welcomed nine young men who were interested in exploring a vocation to religious life in Houston, Texas. The scholastics led a Vocation Discernment Retreat Day at the new Keon House on Saturday, March 4. The day began with morning prayer, and included presentations on discernment, priesthood, religious life and the vows, the history of the Congregation of St. Basil, and the process of Basilian formation. The day ended with Mass celebrated by Fr. David Bittner, CSB, director of scholastics, in the Keon House Chapel.
